Voting Rights
On Tuesday the NC State Board of Elections voted to allow Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s We the People party on the ballot after weeks of votes to delay the decision. The board voted along party lines to reject the Justice for All party, the alternative party running Cornel West for president. Republicans have put pressure on the board to certify the parties, while Democrats have been reluctant to do so. These candidates are considered spoilers for the Democratic ticket to a greater extent than the Republican ticket.
